When’s the last time you fell in love with a lie? When Chris Limbs was denied entry to Argentina in April 2019 (his home for 6 years), his entire life — friends, band, worldly possessions — were suddenly out of reach. He spent the following 9 months working with bandmate & collaborator w.a.n.t.o.n on his return. They both engaged in different coping mechanisms: he recorded a solo record from his parent’s house in Maryland, and she got involved in a toxic relationship that inspired this song.
